Can I really find my pet if it runs away?

Yes. PawFind uses GPS and mobile networks to accurately transmit your pet's location. In the app, you can see where your pet is and track them directly.

What is the difference between the PawFind Max and the PawFind Mini?

Both work the same.

The difference lies in size and battery life:

  • PawFind Mini: more compact and lighter, suitable for cats from 3 kg
  • PawFind Max: larger with a longer battery life, suitable for dogs from 4 kg

You choose based on the size of your pet and how long you need the battery to last.

Which animals is PawFind suitable for?

PawFind is suitable for cats and dogs.

The Mini is compact and lightweight, ideal for cats and small dogs.

The Max is slightly larger and has a stronger battery, suitable for medium and large dogs.

Do I need technical knowledge to use PawFind?

No. Installation is simple and takes just a few minutes. You follow the steps in the app and then the tracker is immediately ready for use.

What is the difference between PawFind and an AirTag?

An AirTag only works via other iPhones nearby. Without other iPhones nearby, you won't get a location update.

PawFind has its own GPS and built-in SIM card and works independently. This means you can track your pet anywhere, even without other phones nearby.

What happens if the tracker breaks?

Contact our customer service directly. We will immediately look for a solution with you.

If the problem is covered by the warranty, we will arrange for a replacement or repair. In that case, we will pause your subscription free of charge and resume it as soon as you have a working tracker again.

Can I track multiple pets with one account?

Yes. You can link multiple PawFind trackers to one account and track them all simultaneously in the same app.

Can multiple people track my pet?

Yes. You can share your pet with others, such as family members or a pet sitter. They can see the same location and features using their own phone.

How do I attach the tracker to the collar? Can the tracker come loose or get lost?

The tracker easily attaches to the collar with the included silicone strap.

This ensures the tracker is securely fastened and can be worn comfortably on almost any collar, harness, or vest.

How accurate is the tracker?

In most cases, PawFind has an accuracy of up to several meters. The exact accuracy depends on the environment and range.

How often is the location updated?

You can set how often the location is updated. This varies from a few seconds (live tracking) to longer intervals to save battery.

What happens if my tracker has no coverage?

If there is temporarily no coverage, the tracker cannot transmit a new location. As soon as a connection is re-established, the location will be automatically updated. The last known location always remains visible in the app.

What can I do with location history?

With Location History, you can see where your pet has been. You get insight into routes and favorite spots, and can, for example, discover where your pet often goes.

Can I see my pet's last known location?

Yes. In the app, you will always see the last known location of your pet, even if there is no connection temporarily.

This can happen, for example, when the tracker is indoors or when no movement has been detected for a long time and the tracker goes into sleep mode.

Do I always have a connection?

In most cases, yes. PawFind uses the mobile network, so you will have a connection in areas with mobile coverage.

In some situations, the connection may temporarily drop, for example:

  • indoors
  • in remote areas without mobile coverage
  • when the battery is empty
  • when the tracker does not detect movement and goes into sleep mode. As soon as the tracker moves again or has a connection, the location is automatically updated.

Do I need to download an app to use PawFind?

Yes. You use the PawFind app to track your pet and manage all functions. The app is free to download from the App Store or Google Play Store

Can I receive notifications if my pet runs away?

PawFind is designed to help you find your pet if it runs away, not to continuously send automatic notifications without you actively monitoring.

Although you can set a safe zone, in practice, these types of notifications depend on GPS, range, and battery usage. This can lead to delayed notifications or less accurate performance than expected.

For the most reliable way to track your pet, use the live tracking feature in the app. This shows you exactly where your pet is in real-time.

In which countries does PawFind operate?

PawFind works in almost all European countries, with the exception of Spain, Switzerland, and Poland.

As long as a mobile network is available, the tracker can connect and transmit its location. In areas with limited coverage, its performance may be temporarily less accurate.

Is there a SIM card in the tracker?

Yes. The PawFind tracker has a built-in SIM card. You don't need to install or add anything yourself.

Do I need Wi-Fi or a specific phone?

No. You only need an iPhone or Android phone. Wi-Fi is not needed for the tracker itself.

Why do I need a subscription?

The PawFind tracker has a built-in SIM card that sends your pet's location to the app via the mobile network.

The subscription covers this connection, allowing you to track your pet anytime, anywhere. Without a subscription, the tracker cannot transmit location data.

How much does the subscription cost?

Does the tracker work without a subscription?

No. You need an active subscription to use the tracker. Without a subscription, the tracker cannot transmit location data.

Are subscriptions automatically renewed?

1-year and 2-year subscriptions: No, these expire automatically and are not tacitly renewed (prepaid).

Monthly subscription: automatically renewed, but can be cancelled at any time with a notice period of 1 month.

Do I need a separate subscription for each tracker?

Yes. Each tracker has its own SIM card and therefore requires a separate subscription.

Are there any extra or hidden costs?

No. You only pay for the tracker and the subscription. There are no additional or hidden costs.

How long does the battery last?

Battery life depends on the model, settings, and usage:

  • PawFind Mini: 2 to 7 days
  • PawFind Max: 4 to 14 days

This primarily depends on how often the location is updated.

Tips for saving battery:

  • Set up your Wi-Fi zone via the app: the tracker automatically switches to power-saving mode when at home
  • Use a lower update frequency (e.g., every 60 seconds)
  • Use live tracking only when necessary

How do I know when the battery is empty?

You can always view the battery percentage in the app. You will also receive a notification when the battery is almost empty.

How do I save as much battery as possible?

Set a Safe Zone: the tracker automatically switches to power saving mode when at home

Use a lower update frequency (e.g., every 30–60 seconds)

Use live tracking only when necessary

How often do I need to charge the tracker?

This depends on the model and usage:

  • PawFind Mini: on average every 2 to 7 days
  • PawFind Max: on average every 6 to 8 days

With intensive use (such as live tracking), you will need to charge more frequently.

How long is the delivery time?

The delivery time within Europe is on average 2 to 7 working days. Orders are usually shipped within 1 working day.

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a track & trace code.

What if I'm not satisfied?

You have a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied, you can return the product and receive a full refund of your purchase price, including the subscription.

How do returns work?

Contact us by email and you will receive return instructions. You have 30 days to return your order.

Once we have received and checked the product, we will refund the full purchase amount. Return shipping costs are at your own expense.
