Which dogs is the PawFind Max suitable for?
The PawFind Max is suitable for dogs from 4 kg. Due to its size and battery, it is ideal for medium and large dogs.
For smaller dogs, the tracker can also be used in combination with a harness. It may be less comfortable with a collar. In that case, we recommend the PawFind Mini.
What's the difference between PawFind Max and PawFind Mini?
Both trackers work the same way. The PawFind Max is larger and has a longer battery life. The Mini is smaller and lighter, designed for cats and smaller dogs.
Can I really find my dog if he runs away?
Yes. PawFind uses GPS and the mobile network to transmit your dog's location. In the app, you can see where your dog is and track them directly.
How accurate is the tracker?
Outdoors, the tracker is accurate to within a few meters. This depends on the environment and reception.
Is the tracking real-time?
Yes. You can use live tracking to follow your dog in real-time.
How often is the location updated?
You can set this yourself. From every few seconds (live tracking) to longer intervals to save battery.
Does the tracker also work indoors?
Our GPS trackers are designed for outdoor use. That is where tracking is most accurate.
Indoors, accuracy may be reduced because GPS signals are weakened by walls and roofs.
What can I do with Location History?
You see where your dog has been, including routes and favorite places. This provides insight into behavior and movement.
Do I need to download an app to use PawFind?
Yes. You use our free app to track your dog and manage settings. The app is available for iPhone and Android.
Do I need Wi-Fi or a specific phone?
No. You only need an iPhone or Android phone. Wi-Fi is not needed for the tracker itself.
Is there a SIM card in the tracker?
Yes. The tracker has a built-in SIM card. You don't need to install anything yourself.
Do I need a data plan?
Yes. The tracker uses a built-in SIM card to transmit location data. This will not work without a Data Plan.
Does the tracker work without a data plan?
No. Without an active data plan, the tracker cannot transmit location data.
Do I need a separate data plan for each tracker?
Yes. Every tracker has its own SIM card and therefore its own data plan.
What is the delivery time?
The delivery time within Europe is on average 2 to 7 working days. You will receive a track & trace code after shipment.

What happens if the tracker breaks?
Always contact our customer service directly. If it's under warranty, we'll arrange for a replacement or repair and pause your subscription until you have a working tracker again.
